The Lost Broken Bones
''The Lost Broken Bones'' is the sixth full-length studio album by Israeli punk band Useless ID. It is the band's first album on the Suburban Home label, and was released in Japan on July 23, 2008 through the Bullion label, and on October 18, 2008 in the rest of the world, in a special release show in Tel Aviv, Israel. Special guests at the Israeli release show included Danny Sanderson, Muki, Avital Tamir of Betzefer and Sha'anan Streett of Hadag Nahash. Like their previous album, it was also recorded at the Blasting Room in Colorado and produced by punk drummer and producer Bill Stevenson. The first single from the album was "Blood Pressure" which was released in August 2008 in Japan and on the band's Myspace page and on September 8, 2008 in Israel. The album was also pressed on vinyl via Suburban Home Records. The CD version released via Suburban Home also included a copy of the band's 2006 DVD, '' Ratfaces Home Videos Presents Useless ID''. Useless ID
Useless ID ( he, יוסלס איי.די) is an Israeli punk rock band, formed in Haifa, Israel in 1994. Known as one of the most successful Middle Eastern punk bands worldwide. History Useless ID was founded in 1994 as a four-piece: Guy Carmel - vocal and guitar, Ralf Hober - drums, Adi Elkabets - lead guitar, Nadav Elkabets - Bass. At its first years, the band was mainly active in the Israeli punk scene, and released two studio albums independently, on its own label "Falafel Records", named after band member's favorite food, the falafel. The band's singer at the time was rhythm guitarist Guy Carmel. Two years after the band's formation, the four members decided to play shows in the United States and toured around the country for six months. This successful tour was followed by five more tours around North America, two around Europe and one in Japan. Danny Sanderson
Danny Sanderson ( he, דני סנדרסון; born November 30, 1950) is an Israeli musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist. In 2005, Sanderson received a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to Israeli music. Biography Sanderson was born in Kibbutz Kfar Blum, Israel to Jewish American parents. During his childhood, the family eventually moved to Haifa. His father worked as the director of El Al's North America department located in New York City, where the family relocated to in 1960. While in New York, Sanderson attended the well-known High School of Music and Art, in New York City. In 1965, at the age of 15, he started his first band. During that time, he wrote his first song. In April 1978, Sanderson married Naomi, who died in 2005. His children are director Adam and actress Dina, and he is the grandfather of three grandchildren. ''Ratfaces Home Videos Presents Useless ID'' is Useless ID's first DVD which was released on September 23, 2006, in a special release show in Tel Aviv, Israel. The DVD includes a documentary about the band, footage from live performances, all of the band's music videos until 2006, photo stills, backstage footage, outtakes, and "behind the scenes" with the band. The DVD was later included with the band's 2008 album ''The Lost Broken Bones'', when pressed by Suburban Home Records. Hadag Nahash ( he, הדג נחש ', ) is an Israeli hip hop/funk band, founded in 1996 in Jerusalem. The band is known for its leftist political statements in many of its songs. Some of the band's songs have been used in protests. Name and symbols The group's name literally means "The Fish-Snake". It is also, however, a Hebrew spoonerism on the phrase ' ( he, נהג חדש, "New Driver"), which appears on signs which must be affixed to the back of vehicles driven by people who have just recently received a driving license.
