The Lia Show
''The Lia Show'', formerly known as ''Neon Nights'' and ''Cryin’, Lovin’ or Leavin’'', is a nationally syndicated country music and entertainment radio program hosted by Lia Knight (born in Kentucky). The program airs nightly from 7 pm to midnight locally across the United States. Based out of Seattle, Washington, The Lia Show is a very artist-driven program with loads of interviews from the top names in the country music industry and many from the film and television industries. The show contributes a measure of its success to its caller hotlines. Putting on caller-intensive shows allowed for it to become more emotional and real. ''The Lia Show'' continues to grow. Radio Syndication
Broadcast syndication is the practice of leasing the right to broadcasting television shows and radio programs to multiple television stations and radio stations, without going through a broadcast network. It is common in the United States where broadcast programming is scheduled by television networks with local independent affiliates. Syndication is less widespread in the rest of the world, as most countries have centralized networks or television stations without local affiliates. Shows can be syndicated internationally, although this is less common. KXDD (FM)
KXDD (104.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Yakima, Washington, United States, the station serves the Yakima area. The station is currently owned by David Stephens of Tulsa, Oklahoma. KXDD has had the same country format for over 35 years. When they first signed on, they also played country music, as KAAR and KUTI-FM (co-owned with sister station 980 KUTI, now KTCR). But in 1977, the 104.1 frequency flipped to KUEZ, which had an Easy Listening format. Ironically, the KUEZ calls are currently on a 104.1 in Fallon, NV with a Soft Oldies format. In 1982 they adopted their current call sign, but it wasn't until around 1984 when country returned to 104.1 mHz. Kidd Kraddick
David Peter Cradick (August 22, 1959 – July 27, 2013) was an American radio host and television personality, known as Kidd Kraddick. His nationally syndicated morning radio show, ''The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show'', is based in Irving, Texas, and aired throughout the United States, syndicated by Kraddick's company, YEA Networks. He was also seen on the nationally syndicated ''Dish Nation'' television show weeknights around the United States. Early life Kraddick was born in Napoleon, Ohio and grew up in Dunedin, Florida. Delilah Rene (born February 15, 1960, in North Bend, Oregon) is an American radio personality, author, and songwriter, best known as the host of a nationally syndicated nightly U.S. radio song request and dedication program, with an estimated 8 million listeners. She first aired in the Seattle market as Delilah Rene, though she is now known simply as Delilah. Early life In 1969, Delilah's family moved from Coos Bay, Oregon, to neighboring Reedsport, where she attended school. It started as an independent trade from 1973 to 2006 until VNU Media took over in 2006 and became a relaunched sister trade to '' Billboard'', until its final issue in 2009. In broadcasting, cancellation refers to when a radio or television program is abruptly ended by orders of the network or syndicator that distributes the show. Programs are typically canceled for financial reasons; low viewership or listenership will lead to lower advertising or subscription revenue, prompting networks to replace it with another show with the potential to turn a larger profit. Likewise, a disproportionately high budget is potentially undesirable (this is somewhat complicated, as prominent programs have effects on the viewership of programs that air before and after; an expensive program may be worth the cost—a loss leader—if it increases the ratings of other shows on the network, while a profitable low-budget show may still be canceled if it lowers the ratings of the surrounding programs).
