The Legend Of Drunken Master
''Drunken Master II'' () is a 1994 Hong Kong action-comedy kung fu film directed by Lau Kar-leung and starring Jackie Chan as Chinese martial arts master and a Cantonese folk hero, Wong Fei-hung. It was Chan's first traditional style martial arts film since '' Fearless Hyena Part II'' (1983). The film was released in North America as ''The Legend of Drunken Master'' in 2000. The film is a sequel to Chan's 1978 film '' Drunken Master'', directed by Yuen Woo-ping. Another film, '' Drunken Master III'' (1994, directed by Lau Kar-Leung) features little in common with either this or its predecessor, and is not considered a sequel. In 2005, ''Drunken Master II'' was named one of the top 100 best films of all time by ''Time'' magazine. ''Dance of the Drunk Mantis'' () is a 1979 Hong Kong kung fu film directed by Yuen Siu-tien's real-life son Yuen Woo-ping, and produced by Ng See-yuen, who also writer with Lung Hsiao. Wong Kei-ying or Huang Qiying (c. 1815–1886) was a Chinese Hung Ga martial artist and physician of Cantonese ethnicity, who lived during the Qing dynasty. He was one of the Ten Tigers of Canton. He was best known for his use of the Tiger Crane Paired Form Fist skill set. ''Drunken Master III'' is a 1994 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Lau Kar-leung and starring Andy Lau, Michelle Reis, Willie Chi, Simon Yam, Lau Kar-leung, Adam Cheng and Gordon Liu. ''Fearless Hyena Part II'' () is a 1983 Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Chan Chuen, and starring Jackie Chan. It was the sequel to the first part ''The Fearless Hyena''. Background When film producer Willie Chan left the Lo Wei Motion Picture Company to join Golden Harvest, he advised Jackie Chan to decide for himself whether or not to stay with Lo Wei. Chan began work on the film, but then broke his contract and joined Golden Harvest. This prompted Lo to blackmail him with triads, and to blame Willie Chan for his star's departure.
