The Left! (Bulgaria)
The Left! ( bg, Левицата!, Levitsata!) is a Bulgarian centre-left to left-wing political coalition established on 12 February 2023. The members of the coalition are Stand Up.BG, Alternative for Bulgarian Revival, Movement 21, Agrarian Union "Aleksandar Stamboliyski", Bulgarian Progressive Line, 's Normal State and BSP splinter faction led by . Ideology According to the Stand Up.BG leader Maya Manolova, the political crisis can be overcome with a united and strong left. According to Manolova, The Left positions itself as an alternative to the right "pole of war" (represented by GERB–SDS and PP–DB) and opposes sending weapons to Ukraine, supporting the course of President Rumen Radev. The new coalition will prioritize incomes, prices, countering monopolies and corruption. Maya Manolova
Maya Bozhidarova Manolova ( bg, Мая Божидарова Манолова; born 4 May 1965) is a Bulgarian politician and the leader of the political movement Stand Up.BG, part of the Stand Up! Mafia, get out! coalition. She was formerly the vice-chairperson as well as a deputy in the Bulgarian National Assembly, as well National Ombudsman of Bulgaria. Biography Manolova was born on 4 May 1965 in Kyustendil. She attended the Soviet Komsomol University in Moscow and for 2 years she attended courses in Law and Economics at the Bulgarian University of National and World Economy, as well as completing a specialty program in social management. Korneliya Petrova Ninova ( bg, Корнелия Петрова Нинова ) is a Bulgarian politician, MP from the parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP). She has been the chairwoman of BSP since 8 May 2016. Biography Korneliya Ninova was born on 16 January 1969 in Krushovitsa village, Miziya municipality, Vratsa district, People's Republic of Bulgaria. She graduated from the Law Faculty of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". In 1995, she worked in the Sofia City Court as a trainee judge, and in the period from 1995 to 1996, she was legal adviser of Sofia Municipality. Bulgarian Rise
Bulgarian Rise (; BV) is a national conservative political party in Bulgaria. It was founded on 5 May 2022 by Stefan Yanev, the former caretaker Prime Minister and Defence Minister. Political positions Some describe the party as both pro-Putin and pro-Russia. Future party leader Yanev was removed from the Petkov Government in March 2022 after he refused to describe the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a war. He launched the party two months later. Despite this, the party backed sending military aid to Ukraine, with the condition that Bulgaria receive modern NATO weaponry in exchange.
