''The Information'', legally the Lessin Media Company, is an American technology industry-focused business publication headquartered in San Francisco. Founded in 2013 by journalist Jessica Lessin, the publication publishes content behind a paywall that allows subscribers access to the site and access to global networking events. Lessin has stated that she aims to "build the next ''Wall Street Journal'' over the next 50 years" with the publication. Shai Oster is an American journalist, the Asia bureau chief for '' The Information''. He was formerly with ''The Wall Street Journal'' and ''Bloomberg Businessweek''. He has won several awards in more than a decade as a journalist in China, Europe, and the U.S., writing about a broad range of economic, business and social issues. Before joining The Wall Street Journal's China Bureau, Oster covered OPEC for Dow Jones Newswires in London. Craig Federighi (born May 27, 1969) is an American engineer and business executive who is the senior vice president (SVP) of software engineering at Apple Inc. He oversees the development of iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Apple's common operating system engineering teams. The Apple electric car project (codenamed "Titan") is an electric car project undergoing research and development by Apple Inc. Apple has yet to openly discuss any of its self-driving research, but around 5,000 employees were reported to be working on the project .
