''The Inevitability of a Strange World'' is Halifax's third release, issued on May 23, 2006 by Drive-Thru Records. Recording Recording sessions were held at Carriage House Studios in Stamford, Connecticut, and The Machine Shop in Weehawken, New Jersey. Lou Giordano produced and mixed "Anthem for Tonight", "Snow on Hollywood", "Giant in the Ring", "Promise Me Tragedy", "A Tint of Rain", and "Murder I Wrote"; Todd Parker acted as engineer, with assistant engineer Derek Karlquist. Halifax is a four-piece rock band from Thousand Oaks, California. They formed in 2003 and are currently unsigned. Their 2004 EP ''A Writer's Reference'' has sold over 60,000 copies to date, after making a cameo appearance on MTV's '' The Real World: Austin''. Over It was a rock band based in Orange County, California. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, the band formed in 1998 to play pop punk. Most recently signed to Virgin Records, Over It is currently unsigned and inactive. History The band, originally a four-piece, started out on Negative Progression Records, who released their debut album ''The Ready Series'' on April 25, 2000. They promoted it with a US tour between June and August 2000. In December 2000 and January 2001, the band toured the south-eastern and midwestern US states with the Stryder. Jeff Soto (born June 3, 1975) is an American contemporary artist. His distinct color palette, subject matter and technique have been said to bridge the gap between Pop Surrealism and Street Art. Early life Soto was born in Fullerton, California, the eldest of four brothers. His father, Jeffrey worked as an offset printer and was an outdoor enthusiast and taxidermist. His mother, Patricia was a homemaker. Soto grew up in a middle class household where creativity was encouraged. He developed an interest in animals and plants due to his parents’ various outdoor activities- gardening, fishing, falconry and camping. From an early age Soto showed an interest in drawing, painting, and storytelling. As a high school student, Soto began to experiment with various genres and art techniques including painting, photography, ceramics, and filmography. ''Say Hello to Sunshine'' is the second studio album by American post-hardcore band Finch. Following the release of their debut album ''What It Is to Burn'' (2002), the group signed to MCA Records, which soon afterwards was absorbed into Geffen Records. Drummer Alex Pappas left the band in early 2004 and was replaced by Marc Allen. Sessions for the next album took place at a variety of studios with Jason Cupp, Ben Moore and the band producing the proceedings. Prior to the album's release, the band went on tour in the US and Europe, and "Bitemarks and Bloodstains" was released as a single in May 2005. PureVolume (formerly Unborn Media) was a website for uploading and streaming of music files, the first independently run of its type. PureVolume was created by Unborn Media, Inc; Mitchell Pavao; Brett Woitunski; and Nate Hudson, all from the University of Massachusetts. PureVolume is a website for the discovery and promotion of new music and emerging artists. The mission was to give artists a new promotion tool. Each artist has a profile that typically contains basic info, updates, photos, shows and music for streaming. Artists have the option of making each of their songs available for free download. Listeners and fans are also able to create profiles to interact with artists and each other, as well as track and share music they like. The Bamboozle
The Bamboozle is an annual three-day music festival which was held in New Jersey from 2003 to 2012, and is scheduled for a 2023 revival by its founder. Every year, new bands competed for spots during the two days. The event evolved out of the Skate and Surf Festival. The 2012 event was the final one of its original run, as founder John D'Esposito subsequently left Bamboozle due to creative differences with organizing partners.
