The Hanover House
''The Hanover House (re-released digitally as The Calling in 2022')'' is a 2014 horror film that was directed by Corey Norman and is his feature-film directorial debut. The film had its world premiere on May 9, 2014 at the Saco Drive-In. It stars Brian Chamberlain as a man that must deal with the demons from his past before he can move on as an adult. Synopsis Robert Foster (Brian Chamberlain) is returning from his father's funeral when he ends up hitting a young girl with his car. Horrified, he quickly goes to the closest farmhouse in hopes of getting medical help for the girl, only for his deceased father to answer the door. There Robert must face the demons of his past before he can finally move on. Corey Norman (born March 19, 1981) is an American horror film director and writer, best known for his debut feature film, ''The Hanover House''. The film has won 6 awards, including Best Feature Film (HorrorHound Film Festival) and Best Director (HorrorQuest Film Festival). It is slated for worldwide distribution in fall 2015. Career Norman begin working in the film industry at the age of 19 for the Lone Wolf Documentary Group, where he worked for clients such as: History Channel, ''Nova'', National Geographic Channel and Discovery Channel. The Sanford International Film Festival is an annual event held in Sanford, Maine that specializes in independent film. History Started in 2014 by James Harmon II, the first festival was quickly put together to showcase films that were originally scheduled to play the canceled Lewiston Auburn Film Festival.
