The Hammer (2007 Film)
''The Hammer'' is a 2007 comedy film starring Adam Carolla and Heather Juergensen. It was directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld. Carolla plays a once-promising boxer, now a middle-aged construction worker, who attempts to join the U.S. Olympic boxing team. The film earned positive reviews during its limited theatrical release. Plot Jerry Ferro is turning 40 years old and leading a mediocre life. He works part-time in construction as a carpenter and part-time as a boxing instructor at a fitness center near Los Angeles. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999.
