The Grand Astoria
The Grand Astoria is a Russian rock band from Saint-Petersburg, founded in 2009 by Kamille Sharapodinov. The current lineup includes: * Danila Danilov – vocals * Kamille Sharapodinov – vocals and guitar * Igor Suvorov – guitar * Dmitry Ogorodnov – bass * Albert Vartanov – drums The band's style is very eclectic and combines a variety of genres such as psychedelic rock, prog rock, fuzz rock, space rock, country, punk and heavy metal, citing Iron Maiden, Mudhoney, Megadeth, Faith No More, Jimi Hendrix, Motorpsycho among their major influences. DIY ethic is the usual way the band arranges their tours and record deals. During the fall of 2010, The Grand Astoria played over 40 shows across Europe in support of their second album. Mudhoney
Mudhoney is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1988, following the demise of Green River. Its members are singer and rhythm guitarist Mark Arm, lead guitarist Steve Turner, bassist Guy Maddison and drummer Dan Peters. Original bassist Matt Lukin left the band in 1999. Mudhoney's early releases on the Sub Pop label, particularly their debut single "Touch Me I'm Sick" and the ''Superfuzz Bigmuff'' EP, were instrumental in the creation of the Grunge genre. Samavayo
Samavayo is a German rock band signed to Noisolution, originating from Berlin. It is a rock trio, with Behrang Alavi on vocals and guitar, Andreas Voland on bass and Stephan Voland on drums. The band has acquired an underground following, as they played over 500 shows in Europe and a number of its songs have been featured in German and Persian TV and Radio. Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California. Initially called Panic, the band was established by Greg Ginn, the guitarist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes in the band. They are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands, as well as one of the pioneers of After breaking up in 1986, Black Flag reunited in 2003 and again in 2013. Motorpsycho (band)
Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock band from Trondheim. Their music can generally be defined as progressive or psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from alternative, jazz, post-rock, pop, country and many other musical styles. The members of the band are Bent Sæther (born 18 February 1969, bass/vocals), Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan (born 31 December 1969, guitar/vocals) and Tomas Järmyr (drums).
