''The Flight Before Christmas'' is a 2015 American Christmas television film directed by Peter Sullivan. It was released on December 5, 2015. The film stars Mayim Bialik and Ryan McPartlin as two people whose flight home for Christmas is diverted, leaving them to spend the holidays together. Plot As Stephanie (Mayim Bialik) prepares to move in with her boyfriend (Gib Gerard), he breaks up with her, leaving her heartbroken and homeless for the holidays until she decides to fly home to Connecticut. On a red-eye the day before Christmas Eve, Stephanie finds herself seated next to Michael (Ryan McPartlin), who is planning to propose to his long-term girlfriend. Peter Sullivan (born November 30, 1976) is an American screenwriter, film director, and film producer. He is severely hard of hearing. Biography Peter Sullivan was born in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television.
