''The End Is Not the End'' is the third full-length album by the Christian rock band House of Heroes. It was released September 23, 2008. After touring for their album, '' Say No More'', the band announced on their MySpace page that they were working on new material. They posted pictures of themselves recording in a studio with supposed ex-member, A.J. Babcock. The band clarified that Babcock is recording vocals and is still contributing musically to the band. A.J. is now listed as the bassist and Jared is now listed as a guitarist. The band released a sampler on their MySpace of 15 short clips of every song on ''The End is Not the End''. The band released the songs "Code Name Raven", "Leave You Now" and "Lose Control". The band has also released free tracks, via www.freehoh.com, which includes "By Your Side", "In the Valley of the Dying Sun", and "Sooner or Later". House Of Heroes
House of Heroes is an American alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. They have released six albums: ''What You Want Is Now'' (2003), ''House of Heroes'' (2005), ''The End Is Not the End'' (2008), ''Suburba'' (2010), ''Cold Hard Want'' (2012), and ''Colors'' (2016). The band also released the album ''Ten Months'' (2001) under their original name, No Tagbacks, which had more of a punk sound than their releases as House of Heroes. Spring Hill is a city in Maury and Williamson counties, Tennessee, located approximately south of Nashville. Spring Hill's population as of 2020 was 50,005. Franklin is a city in and county seat of Williamson County, Tennessee, United States. About south of Nashville, it is one of the principal cities of the Nashville metropolitan area and Middle Tennessee. As of 2020, its population was 83,454. Mono vs Stereo is an independent record label based in Franklin, Tennessee. It was founded in 2003 as an imprint of Gotee Records. While Gotee signs mostly rap, hip-hop, and pop-rock artists, Mono vs Stereo leaned more towards indie music. Gotee Records
Gotee Records is a record label founded by Christian hip hop performer Toby McKeehan (known professionally as ''TobyMac''), Todd Collins, and Joey Elwood. The label began as a production company. At the time of the label's founding, McKeehan was a member of dc Talk. Formation of Gotee McKeehan and Collins intended to produce Out of Eden's ''Lovin' the Day'', but they couldn't find a label to sign the act to, and so formed Gotee Records and began distributing the band's material on their own. The label was a part of EMI Christian Music Group. However, they bought back EMI's minority share to become fully independent again as of March 31, 2008. Toby McKeehan is currently the president of the company and as of 2009, the label is currently distributed by Warner Bros. Records. Mark Lee Townsend
Mark Lee Townsend is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer best known as guitarist for the Christian rock band dc Talk and as the long-time producer for Christian rock band Relient K. Townsend's career started as a member, singer, guitarist and songwriter for the pop and Christian band Bash 'N The Code from 1986 through 1991. He played with dcTalk from 1996 until their hiatus in 2001. In between dcTalk tours, he was a lead guitarist for the Christian artist Jennifer Knapp. He creatively added more life to her already well-written songs. At the Cornerstone Festival 2000, he appeared doing an acoustic act where he ended his show with a rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". During his time with dcTalk, he and other members of the band formed the band, Zilch, which would become the band Sonicflood, and made the album "Platinum" for Gotee Records. Say No More (House Of Heroes Album)
''Say No More'' is an album from Christian rock band House of Heroes, released on May 2, 2006. While the CD is technically a full-length album, it is mainly a re-release of the band's second album. Unlike ''House of Heroes (album), House of Heroes'', this album was not released on Gotee Records. Instead, it was released on Gotee's imprint label, Mono Vs Stereo. Other than the instrumental "The Bois D'arc Circus" being added onto the end of "Pulling Back The Skin" to make one track, adding two new songs, and the cover art and title being changed, it is the same record. The other songs, with the exception of tracks 4 and 9 (which are the new songs featured on the re-issue) are the same recording of the previous album. The band calls this an album, but admits is not really an entirely new album. ''Suburba'' is the fourth full-length album by the band House of Heroes. They went into Dark Horse Recording Studio on February 1, 2010, to record it with producer Mark Lee Townsend. It was released on August 3, 2010, through Gotee Records. On April 5, the band premiered two songs on the Eastern American Radio Network titled "RadioU": "Elevator" and "Constant". On April 18, 2010, the mixing for the album was completed. House of Heroes commented about the album on their Facebook page, "Just south of 5th Ave. on Riverside Dr./33 in Columbus, OH is the Suburban Building. The N fell off the end of the word...
