"The Edge" is a song by Australian rock band Tonight Alive released on the soundtrack for ''The Amazing Spider-Man 2''. It was released as a single on April 1, 2014. It was featured during the end credits for the international release of the film. It was released through Sony Music Entertainment. The song has been well received by critics and was accompanied with a music video with footage from the film incorporated to the band performing. Composition The song was written by the band, and is described by critics as the type of song that could be "adapted into any situation." Lyrically, it speaks of an individual pleading for help in a dangerous or depressing situation, but is unable to reach who they are in need of. Tonight Alive are an Australian Rock music, rock band from Sydney. As of 2018, the band consists of lead vocalist Jenna McDougall, guitarist Jake Hardy, bassist Cameron Adler, and drummer Matty Best. Formed in 2008 by Hardy, Adler and Whakaio Taahi, soon joined by McDougall and Best, Tonight Alive recorded and self-released the EPs ''All Shapes & Disguises'' and ''Consider This (EP), Consider This''. In 2010, Tonight Alive signed to both Fearless Records and Sony Music Australia, Sony Music Entertainment Australia and released their 2011 debut album ''What Are You So Scared Of?''. Vans Warped Tour
The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America. Following the first Warped Tour, the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the tour’s main sponsor, when it then became known as the Vans Warped Tour. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. Electro (Maxwell "Max" Dillon) () is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
