The Class Of One
''The Class of One'' () is a 2014 Chinese feature film directed by Li Junlin and written by Wang Tianhua. It stars Sun Haiying, Han Sanming and Wang Naixun. The film based on the life of Zeng Qingping (), a teacher in Ningdu No. 4 High School. ''The Class of One'' was released in China on January 16, 2018. Plot Song Wenhua () is a substitute teacher in a mountain village. His class has only one student, Tang Mingming (). Tang's father dies in an accident while laboring in a city. His mother leaves home for being unbearable of poverty-stricken life. But Song still sticks to his post. The Education Committee hold an examination for the unified transfer of substitute teachers, Song Wenhua is not passed the examination, and the Education Committee dismisses Song. Sun Haiying
Sun Haiying (; born 7 October 1956) is a Chinese actor. Sun is noted for his roles as Shi Guangrong and Hong Qigong in the television series ''The Years of Intense Emotion'' (2001) and ''The Legend of the Condor Heroes'' (2002) respectively. He has now gained even greater popularity from his breakthrough role as Fan Zeng in ''King's War'' (2012). Sun has won the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival - Best Supporting Actor in 2012 and the Flying Apsaras Award for Outstanding actor in 2002. Life Sun was born in a wealthy and highly educated family in Shenyang, Liaoning on October 7, 1956, the son of Hai Na (), an actress, and Sun Haichang (), the President of Liaoning People's Art Theatre. Han Sanming
Han Sanming (; born 1971) is a Chinese actor and coal miner, known for his roles in films directed by his cousin Jia Zhangke. Initially, he was seen only in small roles or cameos, but was then cast in one of the lead roles, as a coal miner looking for his wife and daughter, in ''Still Life''. The film premiered at the 2006 Venice Film Festival and went on to win a Golden Lion award. Of note, his characters are also named "Han Sanming" in the films. Life Han was born in 1971 in Hanjiayuan Village, Fenyang, Shanxi, the most coal-rich province in China. He became a coal miner after middle school. He has two brothers. He is the cousin of Jia Zhangke, director from Beijing Film Academy, a prestigious school that has nurtured some of China's top cinematic talent.
