Hipnosis is a rock band from Marianao, La Habana, Cuba. Formed in 2001, the band rose to national fame in 2004 with its debut video, ''The Chosen One''. Hipnosis fuses varied influences taken from heavy metal, thrash, doom and grunge styles. They arrived in the United States on July 21, 2013 and requested political asylum. They now reside in Pembroke Pines, FL. Marianao
Marianao is one of the 15 municipalities or boroughs (''municipio ' (, ) and ' () are country subdivisions in Italy and several Hispanophone and Lusophone nations, respectively. Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Gothic Metal
Gothic metal (or goth metal) is a fusion genre combining the aggression of heavy metal with the dark atmospheres of gothic rock. The genre originated during the early 1990s in the United Kingdom originally as an outgrowth of death-doom, a fusion of death metal and doom metal.
