The Buzztones
The Buzztones are a UK-based a cappella group formed in 2011. They were finalists of the 2013 View from The Shard singing competition and debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their sell-out show ''Nevermind the Buzztones'' in 2013. They returned to the Fringe with a new show, ''Buzzology'', in August 2015. The group were founded as a break-away group from London male chorus, Eschoir. Their musical output is predominantly made up of 'pop' covers and 'mash-ups' of songs by UK and US-charting artists. Hailing from London, The Buzztones have performed at the BBC's Pink Tent, also headlining The Bedford, Balham with sell-out shows in 2012, 2013 and 2015. Tenor
A tenor is a type of classical music, classical male singing human voice, voice whose vocal range lies between the countertenor and baritone voice types. It is the highest male chest voice type. The View From The Shard
The View from The Shard is an observation deck between the 68th and 72nd floors of The Shard, the tallest building in London. The View from The Shard consists of a triple level indoor gallery on the 69th floor and a partially outdoor gallery on the 72nd floor. It was opened on 1 February 2013 by the then Mayor of London Boris Johnson. In its first year of opening, it was visited by 900,000 people and made a profit of over £5 million. Edinburgh Festival Fringe
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe (also referred to as The Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe, or Edinburgh Fringe Festival) is the world's largest arts and media festival, which in 2019 spanned 25 days and featured more than 59,600 performances of 3,841 different shows in 322 venues. The Bedford, Balham
The Bedford, originally named The Bedford Hotel, is a Grade II listed public house at 77 Bedford Hill, Balham, London SW12 9HD. History The original building (then named The Bedford Hotel) was built in the 1870s. In 1876, the pub building housed the coroner's inquest into the notorious unsolved murder of Charles Bravo, a resident and lawyer who was poisoned, possibly by his wife. It was rebuilt in about 1931 for the brewery Watney Combe & Reid, and designed by Alfred W. Blomfield, in a "neo-Georgian manner, with Arts and Crafts and Art Deco influences". It was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England. The Last Leg
''The Last Leg'' (known during its first series as ''The Last Leg with Adam Hills'' and in Australia as ''Adam Hills: The Last Leg'') is a British comedy and late-night television talk/sketch show that originally ran alongside the 2012 Summer Paralympics every night following the main coverage on Channel 4.
