The Blues – ES
The Blues – ES (MES; ), formerly called The Blues – European Slovakia (M; ) and Modrí, Most–Híd (MM; ), is a Slovak centre-right political party, registered in May 2023. The initiator of its creation is ex-prime minister Mikuláš Dzurinda, who founded it after he decided to leave the Blue Coalition (now Democrats) project. Around twenty people are involved in the founding team of the party, including Mikuláš Dzurinda's daughter, social anthropologist and international relations graduate Jana Šoková, entrepreneur Tomáš Halgaš or youth activist and Christian-democratic politician Milan Kabina. Politician Pál Csáky was also involved in the founding of the party. According to Dzurinda, they want to be a "center-right party of the conservative-liberal type". Ivan Korčok
Ivan Korčok (born 4 April 1964 ) is a Slovak politician and retired executive diplomat who was Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia from 2020 to 2022 as an independent nominee of the Freedom and Solidarity political party. A graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava and the Institute of International Relations at Comenius University, Korčok served as a career diplomat at various ranks from 1992 to 2020. In August 2023, Korčok announced his candidacy in the 2024 Slovak presidential election. Korcok placed first in the preliminary round with 42% of the votes ahead of second-place finisher Peter Pellegrini who received 37%. 2024 Slovak Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Slovakia in March and April 2024. Incumbent president Zuzana Čaputová announced in June 2023 that she would not run for a second term. In the first round held on 23 March, Ivan Korčok led with 43% of the votes followed by Peter Pellegrini with 37%. As no candidate received a majority, a runoff was scheduled between the two on 6 April. However, in the second round, Pellegrini defeated Korčok with 53% of the vote. He was sworn in as president on 15 June. The election was widely regarded as a win for Slovakia's prime minister Robert Fico who saw his ally elected as President. György Gyimesi
György Gyimesi (born 24 August 1980) is a Slovak politician who has been MP of the National Council of Slovakia since 2020. Early life György Gyimesi was born on 24 August 1980 in Kráľovský Chlmec. He was born as Juraj Gyimesi but legally changed his given name to György in 2020. His father Július Gyimesi was a physician and served as an MP of the Czechoslovak Federal Assembly from 1990 to 1991. Gyimesi studied public policy at the Pavel Jozef Šafárik University. László Sólymos
László Sólymos (born 16 November 1968 in Bratislava) is a Slovak politician of Hungarian ethnicity and a chairman of the Most–Híd, Most–Híd 2023 party who was the Minister of Environment (Slovakia), Minister of Environment of Slovakia from 23 March 2016 to 28 January 2020. Most–Híd
Most–Híd 2023 (; ; from the Slovak and Hungarian words for "bridge") is an inter-ethnic political party in Slovakia. Its programme calls for greater cooperation between the country's Hungarian minority and ethnic Slovak majority. It was one of four parties in the Fico III government coalition, but lost all its seats in the National Council in the 2020 Slovak parliamentary election. The party was formed in June 2009 by dissidents from the Party of the Hungarian Coalition (SMK-MKP), which they accused of being too nationalistic. Most–Híd seeks to offer an alternative to ethnic politics by promoting inter-ethnic cooperation. 2023 Slovak Parliamentary Election
Early parliamentary elections were held in the Slovakia, Slovak Republic on 30 September 2023 to elect members of the National Council (Slovakia), National Council. Košice

Pál Csáky
Pál Csáky (born 21 March 1956) is a Slovak politician, a member of Hungarian minority in Slovakia and the country's former Deputy Prime Minister for European affairs, human rights and minorities. Csáky was an activist for the Hungarian minority in Czechoslovakia since 1977. His political activity started in 1989, and since 1990 he has been a member of National Council (Slovakia's parliament). The Party of the Hungarian Coalition was named a member of the governing coalition in 1998, and Csáky became a member of several advisory bodies and ministerial councils.
