The Big Friendly Corporation
The Big Friendly Corporation is an indie rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada formed by Ryan Marth and is part of the indie music scene in Las Vegas. Since its formation, the band has acquired members Melissa Marth (keyboards and younger sister to Ryan), Jeff Ford (bass, guitars), Timothy Styles (bass), and newest member Brandon Johnson (drums). History The band has released four official albums that include performances by the entire band, and one album recorded and released solely by band founder Ryan Marth. Ryan and Melissa Marth's middle sibling Tommy Marth also performed saxophone on the band's albums. Tommy, who committed suicide in 2012, was best known for his role as saxophonist for The Killers. Tom Miller (musician)
Tom Miller (born 1976) is an American musician and visual artist from Las Vegas, Nevada best known as the lead singer and co-creator of Black Camaro. Miller shares songwriting duties with co-creator Brian Garth, while also providing the visual aesthetic for Black Camaro's album art and live concert posters. Miller holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNLV and is an active member of the arts community in Las Vegas. Early life Miller was born Thomas Gilbert Miller II in Southeast Asia on September 2, 1976. His father was a helicopter pilot in the US Airforce, and Miller spent most of his early life growing up on military bases. The band's founding members are guitarist and vocalist Brian Garth and keyboardist and vocalist Tom Miller (musician), Tom Miller. Ryan Pardey is a musician, singer, songwriter, promoter, tour manager, actor, left-handed guitar player, and DJ from Las Vegas. He is best known as the singer and songwriter for Halloween Town, which has featured members of The Killers, Louis XIV, and The Shys. Tommy Marth
Thomas Christian Marth Jr. (November 23, 1978 – April 23, 2012) was an American saxophone player, best known for his recordings and live performances with The Killers. He toured widely with the band in 2008–2009, and also played on the albums ''Sam's Town'' and ''Day & Age''. Early life Tommy Marth was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was the middle of three children to Las Vegas singer Diane Eddington and father Thomas Christian Marth Sr., who met Marth's mother while playing stringed instruments throughout Las Vegas in the early 1960s.
