The AM Show
''AM'' is a New Zealand morning news and talk show that airs on Three and was simulcasted on Magic Talk. It was presented by Ryan Bridge, with news anchor Amanda Gillies, sports presenter Mark Richardson, and social media presenter Aziz Al-Sa'afin. Amanda Gillies was made redundant at the end of 2021. She fills in when needed if no one else is available. It was presented by Duncan Garner until his resignation in August 2021. The show replaced '' Paul Henry'' after it was announced the frontman of the show, Paul Henry, was resigning and therefore the show was going to be replaced. The announcement was made by MediaWorks in November 2016, and ''Paul Henry'' last aired on 16 December 2016. The show's reporters are Sinelle Fernandez in Auckland, and Ashleigh McCaull in Wellington. It premiered on 13 February 2017. Bernadine Oliver-Kerby
Bernadine Oliver-Kerby (born 14 June 1971) is a New Zealand broadcaster who formerly co-hosted (until December 2019) the breakfast show alongside Jason Reeves on Coast. She has previously worked as a newsreader for both '' ONE News'' and Newstalk ZB. Previously she worked as a sports reporter and was the co-anchor of ''One News'' and a fill-in for other bulletins during the week, including One News at 6pm and Breakfast and late news. She co-anchored One News with Peter Williams. Between February and March 2006 she presented TV Two's ''New Zealand's Brainiest Kid''. Oliver-Kerby also appeared in the TV One documentary, ''Intrepid Journeys''. Her episode documented the lives of the people in Croatia. Three ( mi, Toru), stylized as +HR=E, is a New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989 as TV3, it was New Zealand's first private broadcasting, privately owned television channel. The channel currently broadcasts nationally (with regional advertising targeting four markets) in digital free-to-air form via the state-owned Kordia on terrestrial and satellite. Magic (New Zealand Radio Network)
Magic is a New Zealand oldies radio network owned by MediaWorks New Zealand. The network targets New Zealand's growing population of baby boomers with a line-up of veteran broadcasters. Its breakfast show, Magic Breakfast (formerly Magic in the Morning), is hosted by long-time radio personality, Mark Bunting. The station targets 50- to 69-year-olds, an older demographic than similar MediaWorks brands. It is run alongside The Breeze with a similar playlist, but The Breeze has a younger female skew and easy listening music focus. Another MediaWorks network, The Sound, previously played similar music but now has a male skew and a rock music focus. Mark Richardson (cricketer)
Mark Hunter Richardson (born 11 June 1971) is a former New Zealand cricketer. He was a left-handed opening batsman. He represented New Zealand in 38 Tests from 2000 to 2004. During his cricketing career he played for Auckland, Buckinghamshire and Otago. Richardson also played for Dunedin Metropolitan in the Hawke Cup. International career Richardson began his career as a left-arm spinner, batting at number 10. As his bowling ability declined, he worked on developing his batting, to the point where he was selected as an opening batsman for New Zealand, at age 29. His dour approach to batting - he described the range of shots he played as "the straight drive, the forward defensive and 27 variations on the leave" - provided vital stability to New Zealand's batting order at a time when they were notorious for collapses. Duncan Garner
Duncan Garner (born 8 March 1974) is a New Zealand radio and television host and journalist. He took over the Radio Live drive slot in December 2012 and was previously the Newshub political editor in Wellington. He moved to host ''The AM Show'' in 2017, which was broadcast on Three and Radio Live. Garner left Three on 23 August 2021, after a career of almost 20 years with the channel. After receiving a degree in communications from AUT, Garner began his career at TVNZ in the mid 1990s, as a political reporter for veteran broadcaster Paul Holmes.
