''Thankamani'' (also known as ''Thankamani: The Bleeding Village'') is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language Period film, period Crime film#Crime thriller, crime thriller film written and directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan and produced by R. B. Choudary under Super Good Films and Raaffi Mathirra under Iffaar Media. The film stars Dileep, with an ensemble cast of Manoj K. Dileep
Gopalakrishnan Padmanabhan Pillai, better known by his stage name Dileep, is an Indian actor, producer, and businessman who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He has acted in more than 150 films and has won several awards, including four Kerala State Film Awards and one Filmfare Awards South. Beginning as an impressionist in stage shows, Dileep obtained recognition after being cast in the television comedy series ''Comicola'' on Asianet and its successor ''Cinemala''. Major A. K. Raveendran SM (born 13 June 1958) is a retired officer of the Indian Army and former National Security Guard commando. He was awarded the President's gallantry medal in 1991 and 1992 for his contributions in fighting terrorism in Punjab and Kashmir. Kattappana is a municipal town in the Sahyadri (or Western Ghats) of Kerala state, India. It is the main urban centre in the high ranges of Idukki district, situated about from sea level. Kuttikkanam, is a hill station in Idukki district, Kerala, southern India. It is above sea level and surrounded by lush green tea plantations. It is within the territory of Peermade. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap" has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production.
