Thanga Surangam
''Thanga Surangam'' () is a 1969 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language film, directed by T. R. Ramanna and produced by E. V. Rajan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Bharathi (actress), Bharathi and Vennira Aadai Nirmala. It was released on 28 March 1969. Plot While escaping Burma during WWII, Kamakshi (S. Varalakshmi) gives her son Rajan to a priest Arockiyasamy (Javar Seetharaman) to get him to safety. They reunite years later in India when Rajan (Sivaji Ganesan) is a C.B.I officer out to catch a gang that's making counterfeit gold. Scientist Subbaiya (T. S. Muthaiah) was attempting to manufacture actual gold but accidentally created a highly realistic counterfeit. The leader of the gang, Mr. Spy (O. A. K. Thevar) has amassed great wealth with this counterfeit and is holding Subbaiya hostage to create more. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which gave him also the Tamil nickname ''Nadigar Thilagam'' (). Bharathi Vishnuvardhan (born 15 August 1950), also known mononymously as Bharathi, is an Indian actress known primarily for her work in Kannada cinema and television serials. She began her career in 1966, as a lead actress, with the Kannada movie ''Love in Bangalore.'' In a career spanning over 50 years, Bharathi has appeared in 150 films. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Srinivasan Sundarrajan (17 March 1925 – 28 February 2003), popularly known as Major Sundarrajan, was an Indian actor and director who performed predominantly in Tamil language films and plays. He was well known for his sophisticated and urbane way of delivering dialogues, often mixing English and Tamil sentences.
