San Juan is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. As of the 2020 census the population was 35,294, up from 33,856 in 2010. It is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission and Reynosa–McAllen metropolitan areas. Stephenville is a city in and the county seat of Erath County, Texas, United States. It is on the North Bosque River, which forms nearby. Founded in 1854, it is home to Tarleton State University. Donna, Texas
Donna is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. The population was 16,797 at the 2020 census. History Donna is in southeastern Hidalgo County, east of McAllen, in territory that was granted to Lino Cabazos as part of the La Blanca land grant on May 19, 1834, by the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The Cabazos family inhabited the area for at least twenty years after taking possession of the land, and their descendants continued to live in the area into the twentieth century. The first known Anglo-American settler was John F. Webber, who, accompanied by his wife Sylvia (Hector), a former slave, settled in the area in 1839. The Webbers moved to the area in order to escape persecution for their interracial marriage. Texas State Highway 365
State Highway 365 (SH 365) is a future toll road that is under construction in Mission, Texas. The route will run from FM 1016 to US 281 and will provide an alternate route for heavy commercial vehicles. The highway is expected to become of the proposed Hidalgo County Loop. Route description SH 365 is planned to begin at an intersection with FM 1016. From there, it will head east and south to US 281. History SH 365 was designated on February 24, 1988, as a route from SH 361 in Ingleside to SH 35 at Aransas Pass. On October 13, 1988, the route was cancelled and became an extension of SH 363.
