State Highway 495 (SH 495) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs between Mission and Alamo in Deep South Texas. This route was designated in 2001, replacing Farm to Market Road 495. This route runs parallel to US 83 for its entire route. In McAllen, the route is also known as Pecan Blvd. Route description SH 495 begins at SH 364 (La Homa Road) in Palmview near I-2/US 83. The highway heads east along Pecan Boulevard through Mission to an intersection with SH 107 (Conway Avenue). It has an intersection with FM 494 (Shary Road) before entering McAllen. In McAllen, the highway has several major intersections with Farm to Market Roads to include FM 2220 (Ware Road), FM 1926 (23rd Street), SH 336 (10th Street) and FM 2061 (McColl Street). State Highway 107 (SH 107) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Texas that runs from Mission to Combes in Deep South Texas. Route description SH 107 begins at an intersection with Interstate 2/ US Route 83 in Mission and travels north through the center of town. It reaches an intersection with the old routing of US 83 and Texas State Highway 495 in Mission before exiting to the north. It passes through Palmhurst and Alton before turning right on Mile 7 Road. It then travels east through McAllen into downtown Edinburg, where it intersects the Business Route of US Route 281 and then I-69C/US 281 just to the east. It continues east through rural farmlands, passing through the towns of Elsa, Edcouch, and La Villa. The route then turns southeast into Cameron County, passing through Santa Rosa. Interstate 69C (I-69C) is a north–south freeway running through South Texas. Once complete, the freeway (with connections to Mexican Federal Highway 97) will begin at I-2/ U.S. Highway 83 (US 83) in Pharr and head northward before terminating at I-69W/ US 59 in George West near I-37.
