Texas Hill Country Classic
The Symetra Classic was an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the Symetra Tour, the LPGA Tour's developmental tour. From 2009 to 2011, the tournament was played at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. The event moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2012 and was played at Raintree Country Club. It moved to Milton, Georgia in 2017 and was played at Atlanta National Golf Club. In 2018, it moved to River Run Country Club in Davidson, North Carolina. The tournament was a 54-hole event, as were most Symetra Tour tournaments. Symetra Tour
The Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour, and known for sponsorship reasons between 2006 and 2010 as the Duramed Futures Tour and between 2012 and 2021 as the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour. Tour membership is open to professional women golfers and to qualified amateurs. History The Futures Tour was founded in Florida in 1981 as the "Tampa Bay Mini Tour". It officially became the ''Futures Golf Tour'' in 1983 and in 1999 become a national tour designated as the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour (the U.S.-based professional women's golf tour). Grace Park, Marilyn Lovander and Audra Burks were the first players to receive automatic LPGA Tour exempt status by finishing one, two, and three on the Futures Golf Tour Money List. Lisa Ferrero (born November 3, 1982) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour and Futures Tour. Personal Ferrero was born in Stockton, California on November 3, 1982. She resides in Lodi, California. Amateur and college career Ferrero won the U.S. Girls' Junior in 2000. Ferrero played college golf at University of Texas at Austin. The 2011 LPGA Futures Tour was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from March through September 2011 in the United States. The LPGA Futures Tour is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in the United States and is the "official developmental tour" of the LPGA Tour. In 2011, total prize money on the Futures Tour was $1,765,000. Lee Mi-hyang ( ko, 이미향, born 30 March 1993), also known as Mi Hyang Lee is a South Korean professional golfer. Lee turned professional in 2011. She earned her LPGA Tour card through qualifying school and played on both the LPGA Tour and Symetra Tour in 2012. She won the Symetra Classic on the Symetra Tour, finished 6th on the money list to retain her LPGA Tour card for 2013, and also won Symetra Tour Rookie of the Year honors.
