Finnish ( endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland. Finnish is one of the two official languages of Finland (the other being Swedish). In Sweden, both Finnish and Meänkieli (which has significant mutual intelligibility with Finnish) are official minority languages. Teuvo Loman (born 17 July 1962 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish hairdresser, model, fashion designer and singer living in Helsinki. Loman has done his life-work as stylist and hairdresser. It has been possible to see work of his hands in several television shows. Example guests in Finland's independence day parties in Presidential Palace has also used clothes designed by Loman. Theodor Antonius Tugai (23 August 1912 – 8 June 2000), better known as Teuvo Tulio, was a Finnish film director and actor. Beginning his career as an actor at the end of the silent film, silent era, Tulio turned to directing and producing in the 1930s. His films are noted for their extremely melodramatic style. Teuvo Henri Matias Teräväinen (born 11 September 1994) is a Finnish professional ice hockey winger currently playing for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nicknamed "Turbo", he was selected in the first round, 18th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks after playing several seasons with the Jokerit organization in Finland. Teuvo Pakkala (originally Teodor Oskar Frosterus, 9 April 186217 May 1925) was a Finnish author, playwright, reporter, linguist and teacher. Pakkala is considered to be one of the realists of the 1880s and 1890s, and he is also often called a naturalist. Pakkala's works are especially noted for their portrayal of children.
