Vatutine ( ; ) is a city in Zvenyhorodka Raion, Cherkasy Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Vatutine urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. 3 March 2022 Chernihiv Bombing
On 3 March 2022, 47 people were killed in a series of airstrikes in Chernihiv by Russian forces during the siege of Chernihiv, siege of the city, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch described the strikes as a war crime. Attack On 3 March 2022, just after 12:00 (UTC+2), six unguided bomb, unguided aerial bombs were filmed falling in a residential area in Chernihiv, in a triangular town square, public square formed by Viacheslav Chornovil, Viacheslava Chornovila and Kruhova streets (). Analysis by Amnesty International found that (at least) eight bombs fell. A witness living in Ivana Bohuna Street, Alina, heard a loud buzzing sound before the bombs exploded. Siege Of Chernihiv
The siege of Chernihiv was a military engagement in the city of Chernihiv, in Chernihiv Oblast in the north of Ukraine. It began on 24 February 2022, as part of the northeastern Ukraine offensive, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. On 4 April 2022, Ukrainian authorities stated that the Russian military had left Chernihiv Oblast. Initial battle On 24 February 2022, at 03:27 EET (UTC+2), a captain and a corporal from the Russian 11th Guards Air Assault Brigade surrendered to elements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) near Chernihiv. Bobrovytsia (, ), is the city in Nizhyn Raion within Chernihiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It sits next to the Bystrytsia. Bobrovytsia hosts the administration of Bobrovytsia urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Bakhmach ( uk, Бахмач, lit=plantations, ) is a city located in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast (province), in northern Ukraine.
