Teremky
Teremky ( uk, Теремки) is a neighborhood located in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is located in the southern part of the city, in between the city's Holosiivskyi, Feofaniia, and Zhuliany neighborhoods. The National Expocenter of Ukraine and Kyiv's Ipodrom horse racetrack are located in the neighborhood. Kyiv Metro
The Kyiv Metro ( uk, Ки́ївський метрополіте́н, Kyivskyi metropoliten, ) is a rapid transit system in Kyiv that is owned by the Kyiv City Council and operated by the city-owned company Kyivsky Metropoliten''.'' It was initially opened on November 6th, 1960, as a single line with five stations. It was the first rapid transit system in Ukraine and the third in the Soviet Union, after the Moscow and St. Petersburg metros. Today, the system consists of three lines and 52 stations, located throughout Kyiv's ten raion (districts), and operates of routes, with used for revenue service and for non-revenue service. Subdivisions Of Kyiv
Subdivisions of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, include the formal administrative subdivision into urban districts (raions) and the more detailed informal subdivision into historical neighborhoods. Kyiv is divided in two halves split by Dnieper, therefore there exist two important parts "left-bank Kyiv" and "right-bank Kyiv" in reference to the Dnieper. History of subdivision The first known formal subdivision of Kyiv dates to 1810 when the city was subdivided into 4 parts: Pechersk, Starokyiv, and the first and the second parts of Podil. Feofaniia or Teofaniia ( uk, Феофáнія, Теофáнія; also called ''Theophania'') is a park located in the historical neighborhood on a tract near the southern outskirts of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Expocenter of Ukraine ( uk, Національний експоцентр України) is a permanent multi-purpose exhibition complex in the Teremky neighborhood of Kyiv, Ukraine.
