Tereggi Medal
The Taraggi Medal ("Progress Medal"; az, "Tərəqqi" medalı) – is the state award of Azerbaijan Republic. The award was created by Heydar Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on December 6, 1993 by the Decree No. 758. Status The Taraggi Medal is given to: * Citizens of Azerbaijan Republic * Foreign nationals and non-citizens of Azerbaijan Republic * People without citizenship The medal is given to distinguished persons for the following services: * Special contributions in the sphere of industry and agriculture; * Revelation and innovatory proposals of the great importance; * Special contributions in the sphere of science, culture, literature, arts, public education and health; * Special contributions on building and reconstruction of agricultural objects; * Productive activity in development of physical culture and sport. Erich Feigl
Erich Feigl (1931 – 27 January 2007) was an Austrian documentary film producer and author. He produced almost 60 documentaries, mostly for the Austrian ORF but some for BR (Bavarian), ZDF (German) and TRT (Turkish Radio Television) in co-production. He authored books about the Habsburgs, whose restoration he supported, and the historical fact of the Armenian genocide, which he denied until his death. Shakir Hasanov
Shakir Hasanov Şakir Rəfi oğlu Həsənov (15 June 1947 – 27 March 2022) was an Azerbaijani engineer and politician. Biography Hasanov was born in Boradigah, Masally District. He attended the Borodigah Village High School, where Hasanov later graduated in 1965. He then attended the Azerbaijan Technical University. Maecenas
Gaius Cilnius Maecenas ( – 8 BC) was a friend and political advisor to Octavian (who later reigned as emperor Augustus). He was also an important patron for the new generation of Augustan poets, including both Horace and Virgil. During the reign of Augustus, Maecenas served as a quasi-culture minister to the Roman emperor but in spite of his wealth and power he chose not to enter the Senate, remaining of equestrian rank. The Mirza Fatali Akhundov National Library of Azerbaijan ( Azerbaijani: ''Mirzə Fətəli Axundov adına Azərbaycan Milli Kitabxanası'') is the national library of the Republic of Azerbaijan, located in Baku and founded in 1922.
