Litang County
Litang (; ) is in southwest of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China. Litang is part of Kham in the Tibetan cultural zone, and several famous Buddhist figures were born here, including the 7th Dalai Lama, the 10th Dalai Lama, the 11th Tai Situpa, four of the Pabalas, as well as the 5th Jamyang Zhépa of Labrang Monastery. Daocheng Yading Airport
Daocheng Yading Airport ( zh, 稻城亚丁机场, bo, འདབ་པའི་ཉི་བརྟེན་གནམ་གྲུ་ཐང་, ) is an airport serving Daocheng County in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan province, China. It is located in Sangdui Township, north of the county seat and from the Yading Nature Reserve. At above sea level, Daocheng Yading is the highest civilian airport in the world. Construction started after the airport was approved in April 2011, with a total investment of 1.58 billion yuan (US$255 million). The airport was opened on 16 September 2013.
