State Route 46 (SR 46) is a north–south state highway located in Middle Tennessee. It mainly goes on a northwest to southeast course while passing through towns and cities such as Cumberland City, Dickson, Leipers Fork, along with mainly rural areas of Stewart, Houston, Dickson, Hickman and Williamson Counties. Most of SR 46 is signed as a secondary route except for the route from US 70 in Dickson to the junction with SR 7 and SR 100 in Bon Aqua, which is signed as primary. (PDF). State Route 100 (SR 100) is a west–east state highway in both West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee that connects Whiteville with Nashville. It is long. Route description Hardeman County SR 100 begins as a primary highway in West Tennessee in Hardeman County at an intersection with US 64/SR 15 in Whiteville. Then SR 100 leaves Whiteville heading east but slightly northward before crossing the Hatchie River. SR 100 then has an intersection with SR 138 just north of Toone. SR 47 is generally traversed only in part; the two termini are in fact only about eight miles (13 km) distant from each other, and are impracticable as a route from end-to-end, as the distance the highway runs is over twice this long. Route description State Route 47 begins as a secondary highway at an intersection with State Route 48 slightly southeast of downtown Dickson near the Fairgrounds. In the Dickson city limits, it is known as East Walnut Street. Outside of Dickson, the road runs east through the communities of Colesburg and Burns. Cumberland Fossil Plant is a pulverized coal- fired power station located west of Cumberland City, Tennessee, USA, on the south bank of Lake Barkley on the Cumberland River. Owned and operated by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), it has a gross capacity of 2,470 MW, and is the most powerful power station in Tennessee. Description Commissioned in 1968, the Cumberland Fossil Plant contains two identical units, rated at 1.235 GWe gross each, Units 1 and 2 were launched into service in March and November 1973, respectively. In 2004, the two units accounted for almost 12% of TVA's total electricity generation.
