Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in the Cariboo Land District of British Columbia, Canada, ten miles (16 km) north of the city of Quesnel. Cariboo Land District
The Cariboo Land District is a cadastral survey subdivision of the province of British Columbia, Canada, created with rest of those on Mainland British Columbia via the Lands Act of the Colony of British Columbia in 1860. Fraser Plateau And Basin Complex
The Fraser Plateau and Basin Complex is an ecoregion, as defined by the World Wildlife Fund. It encompasses the middle reaches of the watershed of the Fraser River as it traverses the northern part of the Interior Plateau of British Columbia. The WWF ecoregion is similar in description to two of the ecoregions within Environment Canada, Environment Canada's ''Montane Cordillera Ecozone:'' ''The Fraser Basin'' and the ''Fraser Plateau.'' Much of the Fraser Plateau is underlain by volcanic rocks which have steep escarpments along rivers and Stream, creeks and almost flat upper surfaces. Chilcotin Plateau
The Chilcotin Plateau is part of the Fraser Plateau, a major subdivision of the Interior Plateau of British Columbia. The Chilcotin Plateau is physically near-identical with the region of the same name, i.e. "the Chilcotin", which lies between the Fraser River and the southern Coast Mountains and is defined by the basin of the Chilcotin River and so includes montane areas beyond the plateau.
