Jeff Daniels (born 1978) is an American-Australian documentary film director and producer. Early life Daniels was born in 1978 and raised in Queens, New York. He moved to Australia in 2001 and now lives in Melbourne. Career Daniels made his first film, ''The 10 Conditions of Love'' over seven years while working as a school teacher in Melbourne. An observational film about exiled Uyghur activist and human rights leader, Rebiya Kadeer, the film made international headlines after Chinese hackers attacked the Melbourne International Film Festival website, in an attempt to disrupt its screening. Several Chinese directors withdrew their films from the festival in response to the planned screening of Daniels' film. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang.
