ITV Channel Television, previously Channel Television, is a British television station which has served as the ITV contractor for the Channel Islands since 1962. It is based in Jersey and broadcasts regional programme for insertion into the network ITV schedule. Until November 2011, Channel Television was one of four ITV companies independent from ITV plc alongside the two STV regions in Scotland and UTV in Northern Ireland. Guernsey Post is the postal service for the island of Guernsey, Channel Islands. It includes a Philatelic bureau, and regularly issues both definitive and commemorative stamps. Airtel-Vodafone is a mobile network operator located in Jersey and Guernsey (Channel Islands), and is a joint venture between Bharti Airtel and Vodafone. Airtel-Vodafone was first launched in Jersey in June 2007 and expanded operations to Guernsey in March 2008. The Red-M coverage survey assessed islandwide coverage of the Airtel-Vodafone mobile network versus the Jersey Telecom and Sure mobile networks for 2G and 3G services. The Red-M results show that for the benchmark threshold for good indoor coverage (signal strength > -81 dBm) for 2G GSM mobile services, Airtel Vodafone's network on average offered 15% better coverage than Jersey Telecom and 14% better than Sure across Jersey. Island FM is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting across the Bailiwick of Guernsey on 104.7FM and 93.7FM in Alderney. Launched in 1992, Island FM remains the sole commercial station in the island and continues to be extremely successful with high listenership figures. Listening figures under a 2018 RAJAR survey showed that out of a population of 53,000 adults, 31,000 listened each week, at an average of 11.6 hours per person giving a 37% market share. As of September 2022, the station broadcasts to a weekly audience of 25,000 with a listening share of 26.1%, according to RAJAR.
