Telecogresca is the Telecom BCN's annual festival and known to be the largest university festival in Spain. History The first Telecogresca took place on December 1, 1978, to celebrate the construction of the new building of the university in the street Jordi Girona. On that first occasion, the party took place in the school itself with a remarkable participation, while putting the first stone of what that nowadays it is. Nowadays, it is known as a 'music festival A music festival is a community event with performances of singing and instrument playing that is often presented with a theme such as musical genre (e.g., rock, blues, folk, jazz, classical music), nationality, locality of musicians, or h ...' organized by volunteers with more than 10,000 attendees per edition. Telecom BCN
TelecomBCN ( ca, Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació de Barcelona) is an engineering school of the Technical University of Catalonia. TelecomBCN is one of the largest telecommunications engineering schools in Spain. The school's objective is to train engineers in the fields of information and communication technologies. The school offers two study programs that culminate in two different official degrees: one in telecommunications engineering called Degree in Technologies and Services of Telecommunications Engineering, with four mentions (Audiovisual Systems Engineering, Electronic Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Systems Engineering and Telematics Engineering) and the other in Physics Engineering.
