Teeny Weeny Games
Perfect Entertainment was an independent British computer game developer, which ceased production in 1999. It began in 1991 as Teeny Weeny Games headed by Angela Sutherland but changed names when merging exclusively with Gregg Barnett's Perfect 10 Productions, a company previously known as Beam Software (UK). Perfect Entertainment is notable for its popular point-and-click adventure games ''Discworld'', '' Discworld II: Missing Presumed...!?'' and ''Discworld Noir'', which are based on the Terry Pratchett novels. Teeny Weeny Games was the initial funding source of Perfect Entertainment's speculative product demo of Discworld. Perfect Entertainment produced the majority of Psygnosis games ported to the Sega Saturn, since Sony (who owned Psygnosis at that time) wasn't willing to fund games for a rival console. Game Gear
The is an 8-bit fourth generation handheld game console released by Sega on October 6, 1990, in Japan, in April 1991 throughout North America and Europe, and during 1992 in Australia. The Game Gear primarily competed with Nintendo's Game Boy, the Atari Lynx, and NEC's TurboExpress. It shares much of its hardware with the Master System, and can play Master System games by the use of an adapter. Sega positioned the Game Gear, which had a full-color backlit screen with a landscape format, as a technologically superior handheld to the Game Boy. Though the Game Gear was rushed to market, its unique game library and price point gave it an edge over the Atari Lynx and TurboExpress. ''Discworld'' is a point-and-click adventure game, developed by Teeny Weeny Games and Perfect 10 Productions, and based upon Terry Pratchett's novels of the same name. Players assume the role of Rincewind the "wizzard", voiced by Eric Idle, as he becomes involved in exploring the Discworld for the means to prevent a dragon terrorising the city of Ankh-Morpork. The game's story borrows elements from several ''Discworld'' novels, with its central plot loosely based on the events in ''Guards! Guards!'' Pratchett was originally reluctant to grant a licence for a game based on his novels, after the commercial failure of a video game adaptation of ''The Colour of Magic'' in 1986. Gregg Barnett, the game's designer, managed to persuade the writer through offering, alongside an initial design concept, to faithfully recreate elements from the novels. ''Primal Rage'' is a fighting game developed and released by Atari Games to arcades in August 1994. The game takes place on a post-apocalyptic version of Earth called "Urth". Players control one of seven large beasts that battle each other to determine the planet's fate. Matches feature many of the conventions of fighting games from the era including special moves and gory finishing maneuvers. Ports were released for home consoles and personal computers. Adamantium is a fictional metal alloy appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and in various games in the Elder Scrolls franchise. It is best known as the substance bonded to the character Wolverine's skeleton and claws. In the Elder Scrolls it is depicted as a durable and rare metal that varies in weight class from game to game. Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore in 1985. The original model is one of a number of mid-1980s computers with 16- or 32-bit processors, 256 KB or more of RAM, mouse-based GUIs, and significantly improved graphics and audio compared to previous 8-bit systems. This includes the Atari ST—released earlier the same year—as well as the Macintosh and Acorn Archimedes. ''Last Action Hero'' is a series of action game, action video games based on the 1993 Last Action Hero, film of the same name. Versions were released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, NES, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear, and MS-DOS. Versions were also planned for the Sega CD and Master System, but ultimately were not released. A separate version was released on the Amiga and was developed by The Dome.
