Teds Place, Colorado
Ted's Place is a gas station in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. Ted's Place is located near the mouth of the Poudre Canyon, approximately northwest of Fort Collins. In May, 1922, Ted Herring opened a filling station and store at the intersection of US 287 and Colorado State Highway 14. The popular stop near the canyon was quickly named 'Ted's Place' by local residents. U.S. Route 287 (US 287) is a north–south (physically northwest–southeast) United States highway. At long, it is the second longest three-digit U.S. Route, behind US 281. State Highway 14 (SH 14) in the U.S. state of Colorado is an east–west state highway approximately long.
