Ted Brithén
Ted Brithén (born November 25, 1990) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey forward. He last played with Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career He made his Elitserien (now the SHL) debut playing with Rögle BK during the 2009–10 Elitserien season. In April 2014 he played his first 2 games with the Swedish National Team. In August 2014, he was promoted to be the captain of HV71, after the legendary Johan Davidsson, in which he served in the role for two seasons. 2016–17 SHL Season
The 2016–17 SHL season is the 42nd season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2016 and ended in March 2017. The playoffs follow the conclusion of the regular season. Rögle BK and Leksands IF were forced to play in the SHL qualifiers to defend their SHL status. Rögle won their series against BIK Karlskoga in four games while Leksand lost to Mora IK over six games. Therefore, Mora were promoted to the SHL at the expense of Leksand. The Le Mat Trophy (, ) is the trophy awarded to Swedish champions in ice hockey. The trophy has been awarded since the 1926 season and starting with the 1975–76 season – it has been awarded to the winners of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) playoffs. Johan Davidsson
Johan Markus Davidsson (born 6 January 1976) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player, who played last with HV71 in the Swedish Hockey League, SHL. He was a long-time Elitserien/SHL player and captain of HV71 for eleven seasons, with which he has won the Swedish championship four times. Playing career Davidsson wore jersey number 76 and was the captain of HV71. In 2005 Davidsson renewed his contract with HV71 until the end of season 2009–10.
