Techniche
Techniche is the annual Techno-Management festival of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. The festival was started in 1999 by a group of students within the IIT Guwahati campus. Spread over three days and four nights, Techniche is generally conducted towards the end of August each year. Brief history Beginning its journey in two rooms within the Technology Complex of IIT GuwahatiHow Techniche got started, Techniche has grown exponentially over the years, spreading its wings to nearly 50K participants from varied colleges, schools and institutions all across India, UAE, Bangladesh and Singapore. Technothlon
Technothlon is an International School Championship organized by the IIT Guwahati. Technothlon began in 2004 with an aim to ‘Inspire Young Minds’. Starting on its journey with a participation of 200 students confined to the city of Guwahati, over the next 17 years Technothlon has expanded its reach to over 450+ cities all over India and various centers abroad. The contest is organized over 2 rounds: a written preliminary examination, Prelims, which takes place in numerous schools all over India in July (Online this year due to Pandemic) and Mains - which is conducted at IIT Guwahati, among the top 50 teams/students from each IX-X(Junior Squad) and XI-XII(Hauts Squad) class students. Agni-IV ("Fire") is the fourth in the Agni series of missiles which was earlier known as ''Agni II prime''. It has been developed by India's DRDO and displayed a number of new technologies and significant improvement in missile technology. The missile is light-weight and has two stages of solid propulsion and a payload with re-entry heat shield. With 4,000 km range, it is capable of striking targets in nearly all of mainland China, if launched from northeastern part of India. Casey Hudson is a Canadian video game developer, known for his work on several of BioWare's video games, and mainly the ''Mass Effect'' trilogy as game director. Biography After obtaining a degree in mechanical engineering, Hudson began his career at the Canadian video game developer BioWare with credits as a technical artist on several games, including '' MDK 2''. Ranendra "Ronen" Sen (born 9 April 1944) is an Indian diplomat who was India's ambassador to the United States of America from August 2004 to March 2009. Christer Fuglesang
Arne Christer Fuglesang (born 18 March 1957) is a Swedish physicist and an ESA astronaut. He was first launched aboard the STS-116 Space Shuttle mission on 10 December 2006, making him the first Swedish citizen in space. Married with three children, he was a Fellow at CERN and taught mathematics at the Royal Institute of Technology before being selected to join the European Astronaut Corps in 1992. Peter Atkins
Peter William Atkins (born 10 August 1940) is an English chemist and a Fellow of Lincoln College at the University of Oxford. He retired in 2007.
