Technical Communication Quarterly
''Technical Communication Quarterly'' is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal that covers technical communication in a variety of fields (business, science, and technology, among others). It combines both theoretical and practical perspectives in its research articles. The journal was established in 1992 and is published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing (ATTW). The editor-in-chief is Rebecca Walton ( Utah State University). Previous editors have been Donald Cunningham (founding editor), Victoria Mikelonis, Mary Lay, Billie Wahlstrom, Charlotte Thralls, Mark Zachry, Amy Koerber, and Donna Kain. Academic Search is a monthly indexing service. It was first published in 1997 by EBSCO Publishing in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Its academic focus is international universities, covering social science, education, psychology, and other subjects. Publishing formats covered are academic journals, magazines, newspapers, and CD-ROM. Academic Search Complete Academic Search Complete was first published in 2007 as Academic Premier. It is an indexing and abstracting service, accessible via the World Wide Web. Coverage includes more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 36,377 titles (22,794 active titles and 13,583 inactive titles) from approximately 11,678 publishers, of which 34,346 are peer-reviewed journals in top-level subject fields: life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences and health sciences. It covers three types of sources: book series, journals, and trade journals. All journals covered in the Scopus database are reviewed for sufficiently high quality each year according to four types of numerical quality measure for each title; those are ''h''-Index, CiteScore, SJR ( SCImago Journal Rank) and SNIP ( Source Normalized Impact per Paper). PsycINFO is a database of abstracts of literature in the field of psychology. It is produced by the American Psychological Association and distributed on the association's APA PsycNET and through third-party vendors. It is the electronic version of the now-ceased ''Psychological Abstracts''. In 2000, it absorbed PsycLIT which had been published on CD-ROM. PsycINFO contains citations and summaries from the 19th century to the present of journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations.
