Podgorica (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; Literal translation, lit. 'under the hill') is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. Montenegrin First League Of Women's Handball
The Montenegrin First League of Women's Handball is the top women's team handball league in Montenegro. It is organised by the Handball Federation of Montenegro. History Before independence Since 2006, Montenegrin women's handball clubs played in the competitions of SFR Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro. Most successful was ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica, who gained 18 champion titles in Yugoslav championship, with three European trophies (1985, 1986, 2006). 2020 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2020 European Women's Handball Championship was held from 3 to 20 December 2020. The games were played in Herning and Kolding, Denmark. Originally, this tournament would be held with 2 host countries: Norway and Denmark. However, lacking some time for the beginning, Norway renounced the right to seat, respecting the local legislation about the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was also be one of the qualification events for the 2021 World Women's Handball Championship. It was also be played behind closed doors due to the pandemic. Chambray Touraine Handball is the name of a French handball club from Chambray-lès-Tours. This team currently competes in the French Women's Handball First League from 2016. History of the club In 1994, Chambray sports club, set up a new section, Handball enriches the sports club with 1 team senior men. 2006–2007, the Chambray club set up an agreement with the women's section of the St Cyr sur Loire club.
