Taça Competência
The Taça Competência was a tournament organized by Associação Paulista de Esportes Atléticos (APEA), that aimed to carry out the confrontation between the Capital and the Countryside champions, since at the time, logistical impossibilities did not allow teams from the interior of the state to compete in the same championship as the capital clubs. List of Champions The difference in levels was absolute, and never has a team from the countryside managed to win the Taça Competência. In 2021, the Federação Paulista de Futebol considered the countryside division of APEA to be equivalent to the second tier of football in São Paulo. Rio Branco Esporte Clube, more commonly referred to as Rio Branco de Americana or simply Rio Branco, is a Brazilian football club based in Americana, São Paulo. Rio Claro, São Paulo
Rio Claro is a city in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The elevation is 613 m. It was incorporated as the village of '' São João Batista do Ribeirão Claro'' in 1827, and this incorporation is celebrated every year on June 24 as a municipal holiday. The Paulista Revolt of 1924, also known as the Forgotten Revolution, Isidoro Revolution, Revolution of 1924 and the Second 5 July, was the second tenentist revolt in Brazil. The armed conflict took place mainly in and around the city of São Paulo between 5 and 28 July 1924. It was based in the dissatisfaction of junior officers with the country's economic crisis and the concentration of power in the hands of politicians from São Paulo and Minas Gerais states.
