The 1927 Campeonato Paulista was the 26th season of São Paulo's top association football league. Two championships were disputed that season, each by a different league (APEA and LAF). Club Athletico Albion, C. A. Albion or simply CA Albion was a Brazilian football club based in São Paulo. The club won one Campeonato Paulista First Division in 1933 and three Second Division titles, before being dissolved in 1936. History Founded in 1921 as "Associação Athletica São Paulo Alpargatas", the name of the company where most of the team's players worked ( São Paulo Alpargatas), and, in 1932, chose to change its name to "Club Athletico Albion", and acted as such until 1936, when the club abandoned the Campeonato Paulista during the dispute and was dissolved. Araken Patusca (17 July 1905 – 24 January 1990) was a Brazilian footballer who played as a striker. He was born in Santos. Throughout his career (1923–1937), he played for Santos FC, Club Athletico Paulistano, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, São Paulo. Having been three consecutive times runner-up with Santos (1927, 1928, 1929) at the '' Campeonato Paulista'', he won the title with them in 1931, and then in 1935 with Independente. With Siriri, Feitiço, Evengelista and Camarão formed one of the most important attacking lines of the 1920s. In 1928, he was the top goalscorer of the ''Campeonato Paulista''.
