Tarō Ishida
, born , was a Japanese actor, voice actor and Shin Buddhist priest from the city of Kyoto. He was affiliated with Granpapa Production. Biography Ishida was born in Kyoto, Japan on March 16, 1944, the son of actor Shigeki Ishida. He attended the Foreign Language Department (Spanish) of Sophia University, but quit without graduating. Ishida was also a chief priest at the Jōdo Shinshū Buddhist temple ''Jōkei-ji'' at Kanazawa, Ishikawa. He was married to actress Fusako Tachibana until her death in 2006. is a long-running Japanese cooking manga series written by and drawn by . The manga's title is a portmanteau of the Japanese word for delicious, ''oishii'', and the word for someone who loves to eat, ''kuishinbo''. The series depicts the adventures of culinary journalist Shirō Yamaoka and his partner (and later wife), Yūko Kurita. Nihonmatsu Yoshitsugu
or Hatakeyama Yoshitsugu was a Japanese ''daimyō'' of the Sengoku period, who was the 14th head of the Nihonmatsu clan (a branch of the Hatakeyama clan) of Mutsu. In 1568, Yoshitsugu was attacked by Date Terumune, the father of the famous Date Masamune, outnumbered and defeated, he pretended to surrender. In 1585, instead Yoshitsugu took Terumune as a hostage, Masamune’s forces counterattacked, and in the ensuring battle, both Nihonmatsu Yoshitsugu and Date Terumune were killed. Kajiwara Kagetoki
was a samurai and retainer of the Kamakura Shogunate during the late Heian and early Kamakura period. He was a spy for Minamoto no Yoritomo in the Genpei War, and a warrior against the Taira clan. He came to be known for his greed and treachery. He was a prominent eastern warrior and supplied Minamoto no Yoshitsune with a number of ships after the Battle of Yashima. Life Originally from Suruga Province, Kajiwara entered the Genpei War fighting under Ōba Kagechika, against the Minamoto. After the Taira victory at Ishibashiyama in 1181, he was sent to pursue the fleeing Minamoto no Yoritomo. Having discovered him, Kajiwara switched sides, leading his forces in another direction, and turning to Yoritomo's cause. Oshin
is a Japanese serialized morning television drama (''asadora''), which originally aired on NHK from 4 April 1983 to 31 March 1984; it is the 31st ''asadora'' overall to be produced. The 297 15-minute episodes follow the life of during the Meiji period up to the early 1980s. In the work, Shin is called ''Oshin'', an archaic Japanese cognomen. is a disaster novel by Japanese writer Sakyo Komatsu, published in 1973. Komatsu took nine years to complete the work. It was published in two volumes, both released at the same time.
