Tarun (actor)
Tarun Kumar (born 8 January 1980) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in few Tamil and Malayalam films. He has received three state Nandi Awards and the National Film Award for his works. He received the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991, for his work in Mani Ratnam's '' Anjali'', which was India's official entry to the Oscars for that year. Tarun won critical acclaim with the Malayalam children's film, '' Abhayam'' (1991), which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film for that year, and Tarun won the Best Child artist Award at the ''Furoshiki Film Festival in Japan''. ''Aditya 369'' is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language science fiction film written and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mohini while Amrish Puri, Tinnu Anand, and Suthivelu play supporting roles. The music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja and Jandhyala wrote the dialogues. The film was produced by S. Anitha Krishna on Sridevi Movies banner with S. P. Balasubrahmanyam as the presenter. Inspired by the H. G. Wells' novel ''The Time Machine'' (1895) which he read as a student, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao started working on a script in which the protagonist travels to the past and the future.
