Tarmizi Mat Johari
Soldadu Mohammad Tarmizi bin Haji Mat Johari (born 26 December 1983) is a Bruneian footballer who last played for MS ABDB and the Brunei national team as a goalkeeper. He had a brief spell with professional club Brunei DPMM FC in 2014. Club career Tarmizi began playing league football with QAF FC, then transferred to the football team of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, MS ABDB from the 2007-08 season onwards. He has won four league titles and six FA Cups with the Armymen to date. Tarmizi moved to Brunei DPMM FC in early 2014 to serve as third-choice goalkeeper behind Wardun Yussof and Azman Ilham Noor. He was released and promptly rejoined MS ABDB after the season ended. International career Tarmizi was first selected for the Brunei national football team at the 2018 World Cup qualifying matches against Chinese Taipei in early 2015. 2018 AFF Championship Qualification
The 2018 AFF Championship qualification tournament was the qualification process for the 2018 AFF Championship, the twelfth edition of the AFF Championship. Brunei and Timor-Leste contested the tenth and final remaining berth for the AFF Championship final tournament in two home-and-away matches. On 7 August 2018, organising committees confirmed the venue where Timor-Leste will play Brunei has been changed due to floodlighting issues. The opening match was held at Kuala Lumpur Stadium, Malaysia, not as per originally planned at National Stadium, Dili. The 2018–19 Brunei Super League (also known as the DST Super League for sponsorship reasons) is the 6th season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 22 April 2017. The Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council came into the season as defending champions of the 2016 season. The 2016 Brunei Super League (also known as the DST Super League for sponsorship reasons) was the 4th season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 12 March 2016 and concluded on 30 September 2016. MS ABDB came into the season as defending champions of the 2015 season. Kota Ranger and Kasuka entered as the two promoted teams from the Premier League.
