2018–19 Brunei Super League
The 2018–19 Brunei Super League is the 6th season of the Brunei Super League, the top Bruneian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2012. The season began on 26 October 2018. Champions Teams A total of 10 teams competed in the league. Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council, MS ABDB were the defending champions. Menglait FC, Menglait and Jerudong FC, Jerudong were relegated from last season, and were replaced by promoted teams Setia Perdana FC, Setia Perdana and IKLS FC, IKLS. Brunei Super League
The Brunei Super League ( abbr: BSL; – LSB) is a professional league for men's association football in the sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. It is at the top tier of the Bruneian football league system, and it is managed by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD). The football clubs participating in this top tier league need to pass a set of requirements and verification process, particularly related to professionalism and infrastructure feasibility. The BSL championship winner will receive B$10,000 as prize money, in addition to a qualifying berth for the AFC Challenge League as Brunei's representative, provided that the winning club conforms to Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Club Licence criteria. 2021 AFC Cup Qualifying Play-offs
The 2021 AFC Cup qualifying play-offs were played from 7 April to 15 August 2021. A total of seven teams competed in the qualifying play-offs to decide three of the 38 places in the group stage of the 2021 AFC Cup. Teams The following 7 teams, split into five zones (West Asia Zone, Central Asia Zone, South Asia Zone, ASEAN Zone, East Asia Zone), entered the qualifying play-offs, consisting of three rounds: *4 teams entered in the preliminary round 1. *3 teams entered in the preliminary round 2. Format In the qualifying play-offs, each tie was played as a single match. Extra time and penalty shoot-out were used to decide the winner if necessary. 2020 AFC Cup
The 2020 AFC Cup was an abandoned season of the AFC Cup which was the 17th edition of the competition, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The competition was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic after group stage matches on 11 March 2020, and was originally to resume on 23 September 2020. However, the season was eventually cancelled by the AFC on 10 September 2020 on account of the continuing pandemic. Al-Ahed of Lebanon were the defending champions. Wijaya FC
Wijaya Football Club (; abbrev: WFC) is a professional football club from Brunei that competes in the Brunei Super League. They are a founding member of both the B-League in 2002, as well as the Super League in 2012. They were also the inaugural winners of the Brunei FA Cup in 2002. History Early years In 1975, the club began as a bunch of under-14s competing at the Ong Sum Ping Field under the name Pekerma FC. The senior side Youngster FC, the club that served as an example and source of encouragement for the teenagers as they grew up, occupied the space the majority of the time. Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council
The Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (RBPFSC; ), or simply MS PPDB, is the multi-sport club of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in Brunei Darussalam. Its football team play in the Brunei Super League (BSL). Lun Bawang FC
Lun Bawang Football Club is a professional football club in Brunei, playing in the Brunei Super League. The club has its roots within the Lun Bawang community situated in northern Temburong District. History Lun Bawang FC was established in 2002 by members of the Lun Bawang Murut Brunei Association (PLBMB) and entered the Brunei football league system the following year, winning qualification to the 2003 B-League. Kota Ranger Football Club (; abbrev: KRFC), formerly Perkota, is a Bruneian football club, playing in the Brunei Super League. It was formed in 1978 and was successful in the late eighties and early nineties, winning the national championships twice. Kota Ranger directly translates to City Ranger in English. Kasuka FC
Kasuka Football Club () is a Brunei professional association football, football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan that currently plays in the Brunei Super League, the domestic top-tier competition. History Early days (1993–1998) Due to the demand from the residents of Sungai Kedayan, Kampong Sungai Kedayan to play in the district league, Kasuka was founded in 1993. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the club enjoyed a great deal of success.
