Taras Shelestyuk
Taras Oleksandrovych Shelestyuk ( ua, Тарас Олександрович Шелестюк; born 30 November 1985) is a Ukrainian professional boxer signed with Banner Promotions. He is 16–0 with 10 knockouts as a professional and is trained by legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach. Shelestyuk won the gold medal at Welterweight division at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku and Bronze medal at Olympic games in London 2012. Professional career In the final of 2011 World Championships, he beat Serik Sapiyev from Kazakhstan after 3 rounds with 16–10 final score (5:2, 3:2, 8:6 per round). Welterweight
Welterweight is a weight class in combat sports. Originally the term "welterweight" was used only in boxing, but other combat sports like Muay Thai, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts also use it for their own weight division system to classify the opponents. In most sports that use it, welterweight is heavier than lightweight but lighter than middleweight. Serik Sapiyev ( kk, Серік Жұманғалиұлы Сәпиев, born November 16, 1983) is an amateur boxer from Kazakhstan who won the world title in the light welterweight (-64 kg) division in 2005 and 2007 and Olympic Gold 2012 at welterweight. Sapiyev has signed up for the new AIBA professional league, called AIBA Pro Boxing (APB), which will launch in autumn 2013. He won the Val Barker Trophy for best boxer at the London Olympic Games in 2012. Now he works as general director of WSB. Alexis Vastine (17 November 1986 – 9 March 2015) was a French boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Light Welterweight division.
