Tanvir Islam (born 25 October 1996) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his List A debut for Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity in the 2016–17 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 21 April 2017. He made his first-class debut for Barisal Division in the 2017–18 National Cricket League on 15 September 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut for Khulna Titans on 24 November 2017 in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League. He was the leading wicket-taker for Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, with 22 dismissals in 16 matches. In October 2018, he was named in the squad for the Khulna Titans team, following the draft for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League. In December 2018, he was named in Bangladesh's team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Barisal ( or ; bn, বরিশাল, ), officially known as Barishal, is a major city that lies on the banks of the Kirtankhola river in south-central Bangladesh. 2017–18 National Cricket League
The 2017–18 National Cricket League was the nineteenth edition of the National Cricket League, a first-class cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 15 September 2017, with eight teams placed into two tiers. The top team in Tier 2 were promoted to Tier 1 for the next season, with the bottom team in Tier 1 relegated to Tier 2. Khulna Division were the defending champions. There was a two-month break in the tournament, starting in mid-October, while the Bangladesh Premier League took place. Rajshahi Division were promoted to Tier 1 before the final round of fixtures were played. Khulna Division retained their title when they beat Dhaka Division by an innings and 49 runs in their final match. Dhaka Division were also relegated to Tier 2 for the next season. English Cricket Team In Bangladesh In 2022–23
The England cricket team are scheduled to tour Bangladesh in March 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series will form part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. It will be the first bilateral T20I series between the two teams, and England's first tour of Bangladesh since 2016. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. The Ireland Wolves (formally Ireland A) is a national cricket team representing Ireland. It is the second tier of international Irish cricket, below the full Ireland national cricket team. Khulna Tigers
Khulna Tigers ( bn, খুলনা টাইগার্স) are a franchise Twenty20 cricket team representing the Khulna division in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), a Twenty20 cricket tournament. The franchise was owned by Gemcon Sports and was founded in 2016 as a replacement for the Khulna Royal Bengals who had participated in the first two seasons of the BPL. 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Bangladesh between 14 and 23 November 2019. Eight teams participated in the tournament, including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and the top three teams from the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. The tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Nepal replaced the United Arab Emirates, after they pulled out due to an unknown reason. 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there.
