Tannaz Tabatabaei ( fa, طناز طباطبایی; born May 10, 1983) is an Iranian actress. She has received various accolades, including two Crystal Simorgh for her performances in ''Drown'' (2020) and '' Without Her'' (2022) and two Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association Awards for ''The Voices'' (2009) and ''Villa Dwellers'' (2017). Early life She has been active since 2000 with acting in Cinema, TV-Series and Theatre and started her occupation by passing Hiva-Film acting free classes and she has chosen for ''Zabih'' after a month but her first role as an actress in cinema was ''I Saw Your Dad Last Night, Aida'' by Rasul Sadr Ameli. ''Drown'' ( fa, شنای پروانه, Shena-ye Parvaneh) (also titled ''Butterfly Stroke'') is an Iranian drama crime mystery film directed by Mohammad Kart. The film screened for the first time at the 38th Fajr Film Festival and earned 12 nominations and received 5 awards. Plot Parvaneh ( Tanaz Tabatabai) goes to her brother-in-law Hojjat (Javad Ezzati)'s refinery garage and asks him to stop his brother Hashem (Amir Aghaei). Hashem has gone to a swimming pool with his henchmen for revenge and is destroying it because a video of Parvaneh swimming in the swimming pool is published on the Internet. On the way back from the pool, Hashem kills Parvaneh. The court sentences Hashem to death. Hojjat and his father (Nader Shahsavari) go to Parvaneh's father (Alireza Davoudnejad) for consent. Hafez Awards is an annual awards ceremony which is held honoring cinematic achievements in Iranian cinema. The awards, first presented in 1997, are presented by Picture World Magazine (Aka.
