Tanja Larsson
Tanja Larsson (born 7 July 1977 in Haslev) is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Social Democrats political party. She entered parliament on 1 October 2019 as a replacement for Henrik Sass Larsen after he resigned his seat. Political career Larsson ran in the 2019 Danish general election General elections were held in the Kingdom of Denmark on 5 June 2019 to elect all 179 members of the Folketing; 175 in Denmark proper, two in the Faroe Islands and two in Greenland. The elections took place ten days after the European Parliament ..., where she received 4,197 votes. This was not enough for her to get elected, but she became the Social Democrats' primary substitute in the Zealand constituency. When Henrik Sass Larsen resigned his seat in parliament on 1 October 2019, Larsson replaced him and took over the seat. Folketing
The Folketing ( da, Folketinget, ; ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark—Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Established in 1849, until 1953 the Folketing was the lower house of a bicameral parliament, called the Rigsdag; the upper house was Landstinget. Zealand ( da, Sjælland) is one of the 12 multi-member constituencies of the Folketing, the national legislature of Denmark. The constituency was established in 2007 following the public administration structural reform. The Social Democrats ( da, Socialdemokraterne, ) is a social democratic political party in Denmark. A member of the Party of European Socialists (PES), the Social Democrats have 50 out of 179 members of the Danish parliament (following the latest Danish general election held in 2022), Folketing, and three out of fourteen MEPs elected from Denmark. Henrik Sass Larsen
Henrik Sass Larsen (born 29 May 1966 in Virum) is a Danish politician. He is a former member of the Folketing for the Social Democrats political party. He sat in parliament from 2000 to 2019. He was the Danish Minister of Business Affairs and Growth from 2013 to 2015. Political career Larsen led the Social Democratic Youth of Denmark from 1992 to 1996. He acted as a substitute member of the Folketing twice during the 1998—2001 term, from 19 January 1999 to 21 March 1999 and again from 16 June 1999 to 22 June 1999.
