Tan Cheong Min
Tan Cheong Min (; born 20 August 1998) is a wushu taolu athlete from Malaysia. Career Tan made her international debut at the 2017 World Wushu Championships where she won a gold medal in duilian and the bronze medal in nangun. She then competed at the 2017 Summer Universiade where she won the silver medal in women's nanquan + nandao combined. A year later, she competed in the 2018 Asian Games and finished fourth in women's nanquan. She then competed at the 2019 World Wushu Championships where she became the world champion in nandao and won silver medals in nanquan and duilian. At the 2023 SEA Games, Tan was a double gold medalist in nanquan and nandao + nangun combined. A few months later, she won the silver medal in women's nanquan at the 2022 Asian Games. Around a month later, she won the gold medal in women's nanquan + nandao combined at the 2023 World Combat Games. The 2018 Asian Games ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia 2018 or ''Asian Games 2018''), officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta-Palembang 2018 or Indonesia 2018, was a Asia, continental multi-sport event that was held from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang. FISU
The Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU, en, International University Sports Federation) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25. It was founded in 1949 as the world governing body of national university sports organizations and currently has 174 member associations (National University Sport Federations) from five continents. ''Wushu'' (), or ''Kung fu'', is a hard and soft and complete martial art, as well as a full-contact combat sport. It has a long history in reference to Chinese martial arts. The 2018 ASEAN University Games, officially known as the 19th ASEAN University Games, was a Southeast Asian university multi-sports event which was held in Myanmar from 8 December 2018 to 19 December 2018. This was the first time Myanmar hosted the ASEAN University Games. Universiade
The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students. In July 2020 as part of a new branding system by the FISU, it was stated that the Universiade will be officially branded as the FISU World University Games.
